Angkor Thom
A fortified city north of Angkor Wat. At its height, it was believe that Angkor Thom had a population of 1 million people. The city has 5 gates that are decorated with elephant trunks and topped by four giant faces, facing every direction. The Bayon and some other major temples are located inside Angkor Thom.
